About Dr. Munson
Dr. Munson is a native of the Pacific Northwest and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University. After completing a residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a Fellowship at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, he earned a certificate in Endodontics from the University of Washington School of Dentistry.

Dr. Munson has practiced full-time Endodontics in Kirkland since 1991, was voted among “top Dentists” in the field of Endodontics by his professional peers in Seattle Met Magazine and was selected one of “America’s Top Dentists” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America. He has been Clinical Assistant Professor of Endodontics at the University of Washington since 1991, and served as Chairman, department of Dentistry for Evergreen Hospital Medical Center where he remains on staff.
He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Munson is married with two sons and enjoys traveling with his family. His hobbies include hiking, biking, skiing, photography, astronomy and drumming. He and his wife are outdoor enthusiasts whose adventures have taken them to the summit of Yosemite’s Half Dome and California’s Mt Whitney as well as hiking The Grand Canyon.
